Beverly Hillbillies - Ultimate Collection: Vol. 1
Set a spell and enjoy the country charm and humorous appeal of the Clampett clan, stars of the highest-rated half-hour show in TV history. Created by TV maverick Paul Henning (PETTICOAT JUNCTION, THE GEORGE BURNS & GRACIE ALLEN SHOW) and premiering in 1962, the show followed the family from Ozark poverty to Beverly Hills, California, after they struck "black gold" on their swampland farm. These 26 episodes have been beautifully restored and include the unaired pilot "The Hillbillies of Beverly Hills." With their 36-room mansion overrun with Elly May's animals and Granny's illegal moonshine, while girl-crazy Cousin Jethro and Uncle Jed try to keep an eye on them all, this family ain't like the neighbors, but they sure are a lot of fun!

Oscar Wilde Collection
Four adaptations of Oscar Wilde's works are included on this collection. AN IDEAL HUSBAND: Originally released on BBC TV in the United Kingdom, director It traces the exploits of a woman's desperate attempt to get Parliament to fund a canal in Argentina that does not exist. Her blackmailing efforts lead to a romantic engagement with a noted politician. THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST: Part of a collection of Oscar Wilde films, this version of THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST emerged as a British TV movie in 1986. Paul McGann stars as Jack Worthing, who loves to escape into a dreamworld of his own creation that revolves around his imaginary friend, Ernest. Jack also spends much of his time lusting after local belle Gwendolen Fairfax (Amanda Redman). Algernon Moncrieff (Rupert Frazer) lives in a similar realm of fantasy, alongside his own mental creation, Bunbury. Algernon's eye is captivated by a girl named Cecily Cardew (Natalie Ogle). But when their two worlds collide, things begin...

Beatles Anthology
A deluxe, multi-volume chronicle of the complete history of the Beatles, THE BEATLES ANTHOLOGY is the definitive documentary, featuring 10 hours of footage culled from interviews, live concerts, studio sessions, feature films, home movies and more. Twenty-five years after the Beatles' breakup, Paul, George, and Ringo reunited to offer new perspectives on their lives and their bitter 1970 separation. ANTHOLOGY traces the roots of the group with striking archival footage and photographs. The collection offers a wealth of unreleased early Beatles material, some of it long presumed lost and some previously available only on bootlegs--from pre-Ringo practice sessions to early-'60s tracks with fabbed-up versions of pop standards like "Ain't She Sweet" and "Besame Mucho." The live side of the band is well represented too, by such unforgettable items as Ringo tearing through "I Wanna Be Your Man" and "Boys" at a 1964 TV taping, and John ripping into "Twist & Shout" at the band's 1963 Royal Command Performance.

40-Year-Old Virgin
Andy Stitzer (Steve Carell) rides his bike to his stockperson job at Smart Tech, has a nice apartment filled with collectable toys (in their original packages), and plays videogames every night before bed. He's also a 40-year-old virgin. During a poker game with his coworkers David (Paul Rudd), Jay (Romany Malco), and Cal (Seth Rogen), talk turns to sex and it becomes very clear that Andy doesn't know what he's talking about. His friends become intent on remedying his situation, and their advice leads to newfound confidence for naove Andy. But when he develops true feelings for single mother Trish (Catherine Keener), Andy finds that all the sex advice in the world won't help him navigate the choppy waters of an adult relationship. In Andy, Carrell has found a perfect comic creation who is hilarious, lovable, and rooted in reality. Rudd, Malco, and Rogen are also perfectly cast as Andy's cheerleaders. The script, by Carrell and first-time director Judd Apatow (producer of TV's FREAKS AND GEEKS)...

Northern Exposure - The Complete Sixth Season
The sixth and final season of this cult series was most famous for the departure of series star Rob Morrow and the addition of his replacement, played by comedian Paul Provenza. Despite shakeups in cast, NORTHERN EXPOSURE kept the balance between comedy and drama that made it a fan favorite. Set in the fictional Alaskan town of Cicely, the dramedy's plot is driven by its well-drawn characters. Dr. Joel Fleischman (Morrow) is a New York City doctor forced to work in the northern state to repay medical school loans. Cicely is a town populated by unusual characters, including an ex-con-turned-philosopher DJ (SEX AND THE CITY'S John Corbett), an ex-astronaut millionaire (Barry Corbin), and a feisty pilot-landlady (Janine Turner). When Morrow left partway through the season, Provenza and his TV wife played by Teri Polo (MEET THE PARENTS) filled the void and the series continued for the rest of the season. This set features the final 23 episodes, as well as deleted scenes never seen by the series' devoted fans.

Saturday Night Live - The Complete Second Season
These actors might not have been ready for TV's family hour (as their moniker "The Not Ready for Prime Time Players" would suggest), but with names such as Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi, Gilda Radner, and Jane Curtin, they were certainly ready for the big time. The second season of Lorne Michaels's variety show marks the departure of the beloved Chevy Chase, but that wound was mended with the arrival of a new talent: Bill Murray, who became an audience favorite. SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE's 1976-1977 season features more of the deft combination of smarts and silliness that made the first year such a success. The show's sophomore year also boasts the comedy of hosts such as Lily Tomlin, Jodie Foster, Elliott Gould, and Steve Martin, as well as musical guests including the Band, Paul Simon, Frank Zappa, Santana, and Tom Waits.
